Message of thanks

We have been overawed by the support given to the Club today by the many people who attended the Grand Opening.  We would like express our heartfelt thanks to all those who helped in getting us here and to those who came from near and far to be on the mat.  It was the best possible start for judo at this site.  Thank you all.

We would especially like to thank Stuart Collins, Croydon's Cabinet Member for Culture & Sport and former Mayor, for his long standing support for the Club and Densign White, Chairman of the BJA, for his presence and for leading our first public event at the new Dojo.  We also wish to thank Mick Leigh for the personal gift of his special painting of Jigoro Kano.
