Open to 10 – 15yr olds, these classes provide training for those who wish to develop their judo technique, physical strength, agility, co-ordination, and general fitness. Each class starts with a dynamic warm-up, which includes strength, mobility, and cardio training. One tachi-waza and one ne-waza technique will be covered every three weeks, focusing on the adaption to different entries, situations, movements, combinations, and the transition from standing to groundwork. Players are supported to develop their own toki-waza (preferred technique) and associated strategies, as they explore the competitive aspects of Judo, and discuss the rules of the sport. Standing and groundwork randori conclude each session, enabling players to confidently develop their fighting skills.
