Periodically run courses open to players aged 8 to 15 (Junior) and 16+(Adult), with little or no previous judo experience (Junior and Adult players taught separately). This is followed by Ukemi-waza (landing techniques) tachi-waza (standing techniques) and ne-waza (groundwork techniques).

All players must attend a minimum of 5 out of the 6 classes, and be able to demonstrate their techniques, to progress to a general class.

The course fee (£60 juniors / £80 seniors) includes a new gi (jacket, trousers and belt).
